Guide of Bottle Metal Materials

Metal

Metal is a substance with luster (that is, strong reflection of visible light), rich ductility, easy to conduct electricity, and heat conduction. The vast majority of metal elements on the earth exist in nature in a chemical state.

This is because the chemical properties of most golden phoenixes are relatively active, and only a few golden phoenixes such as gold and silver exist in a free state. Metals are widely present in nature, and they are widely used in daily life. They are very important and most used in modern industry.

Appearance

It has metallic luster, most of which are silver-white.

Standard State of Matter

Except for mercury which is liquid, the rest are solid.

Cosmetic Packaging Material Application

Among the main and auxiliary packaging materials of cosmetics, stainless steel, tinplate, and zinc alloy are the most widely used metals, such as aerosol cans, alumina caps, iron cans, aluminum-plastic tubes and other packaging materials.

In addition, conventional metals such as silver and aluminum are sometimes used in packaging materials.

Tinplate

Tinplate, also known as bond tin iron, is the common name for electro-tinned sheet steel. The English abbreviation is SPTE, which refers to cold-rolled low-carbon sheet steel or steel strip coated with commercial pure tin on both sides.

Tin mainly plays a role in preventing corrosion and rust. It combines the strength and formability of steel with the corrosion resistance, solderability and beautiful appearance of tin in one material. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, high strength and good ductility.

Tinplate packaging has a wide range of coverage in the packaging container industry due to its good airtightness, preservability, light resistance, robustness and unique metal decoration charm, and it is a universal packaging variety in the world.

With the continuous enrichment of various CC materials, DR materials and chrome-plated iron of tinplate, the development of packaging products and technology has been promoted, and tinplate packaging is full of innovations.

Aluminum

Aluminum is very easy to be processed at one time, and mass production in batches is no problem for it.

The ways of processing aluminum include drawing process, metal casting process, machining (equivalent to cold working), metal stamping process, etc.

The main characteristics of aluminum are light and strong, low cost, versatile, non-magnetic, can be well polished, perfect corrosion resistance, easy to process 660 degrees melting point, and recyclable.

Silver

Silver, as a soft metal, can only be made into a shaped product through electroplating.

In order to make the use of silver jewelry more durable and strong, silver is often alloyed with copper. This alloy is regarded as “standard pure silver” in the market.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a steel alloy containing aluminum, nickel and some other tiny elements.

Just like its name, its biggest feature is its perfect “rust resistance and corrosion resistance” ability, and this ability actually comes from the aluminum element (aluminum can form an invisible and powerful on the surface of stainless steel Oxidation anti-rust layer).

Stainless steel has perfect corrosion resistance, smooth and flawless, can be perfectly polished, high temperature resistance, difficult to be machined (cold working), light weight, high cost, recyclable and other characteristics

Stainless steel has significant electrical conductivity, significant thermal conductivity, good surface treatment, easy to rust, good ductility, good light refractive index, anti-bacterial, corrosion-resistant, recyclable and other characteristics .

Silver can be cold-worked, heat-treated, extruded, and various forgings, the most typical is lost wax forging.

Compared with other steel materials, stainless steel is relatively diverse in processing. It can be bent, forged, stretched and crimped. It is also for this reason that stainless steel can be used in mass-produced products. It is worth mentioning that although some grades of stainless steel are easy to be machined, most general stainless steel metals are difficult to machine because of their excellent hardness (equivalent to cold working).

Zinc Alloys

Zinc alloys are alloys based on zinc added with other elements. Commonly added alloying elements are aluminum, copper, magnesium, cadmium, lead, titanium and other low-temperature zinc alloys.

It is the most likely material to replace plastics in gold, because it can be used to make very complex shapes. The reason is that the melting point of zinc is very low, and the quality of casting depends on the level of this characteristic, so people can make delicate and complicated parts or accessories quickly and easily through zinc, which can be said to be a very ideal casting material.

In addition to casting, zinc’s high corrosion resistance means that it will become a leader in another field, which is to make galvanized steel alloy with steel. In addition to steel, the other main alloy use is to combine with copper to form brass.

Zinc alloy has high corrosion resistance and can replace plastics to make delicate and complex parts. It has excellent surface coating effect, cheap, good hardness, and other alloys made of gold with good effect, hygiene, low melting point, and brittleness.
